SolarWorld’s 230 watt solar panel
SolarWorld, a solar panel manufacturer that produces solar panels in Camarillo, CA recently launched their 230 watt Sunmodule. The new solar panel represents an evolution in their product line by making significant design changes which include larger solar cells, increased an inch to 6 inches.
The solar cell count per solar panel was reduced from 72 to only 60. The reduced number of solar cells increases the current while lowering the voltage which is great for maximizing the number of solar panels that can be wired on a string.
The entire solar panel is made right here in the USA except the Junction box which is made in Germany. The SW230 is offered with a silver frame and white backsheet or an ultra low profile black frame with black backsheet. What do you think about SolarWorld solar panels?
